Niku writes across literary genres, bouncing between sketch comedy scripts, speculative fiction comics, body horror blogs, and nonfiction pieces without breaking a sweat. She’d ultimately like to write within the television industry- be that writing coverages for an executive, press releases for productions, or scripts to air.
A poetry and photography zine put together in order to learn InDesign. In “When Can You See Me,” obscured portraits and choppy prose communicate feelings of loneliness, isolation, and sensitivity. Featured in Philadelphia’s Meow Meow Pow Pow Lit.
A comic covering what happens when an alien anthropologist ruins her mission and meets the last man on Earth. Published in Cowlick Comics #7, guest edited by Floyd Tangeman. Future issues planned.

A sitcom pilot about an unemployed woman trying to figure out her next steps.
A satirical skit covering a mall shooting where survivors neglect to focus on the shooter’s actions and, instead, fixate on the fact that he was naked. Shown at Cooper Union’s Electric Carnival in March 2023, the SF Queer Arts Center’s Chromatic Cinematheque in November 2023, and the Deep Cut Film Festival in February of 2024.
